Dictation Sentences & LWRs added.

Play parts (initials only) added at the end of the blog. Parts need to be memorized by MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH!

We are regrouping and focusing more on being quiet as a class.

SUBJECT UPDATES:

READING: 6th grade is reading In the Year of the Hangman or Indian Captive. 5th graders are reading Incident at Hawks Hill or Island of the Blue Dolphins
LANGUAGE: LWRs.  Public speaking unit. Speeches on Tu, Wed, and Thursday. Topic is of their choice. Time frame: must be at least 2-3 minutes.
SOCIAL STUDIES: 5th graders: Ch 5 on Explorers. Students will have an choice of a map, a journal, or a timeline of their explorer.
SCIENCE: Systems. Acid/acid ongoing.
MATH: Fractions for 5th and 6th graders
SPELLING: Unit 14
KEYBOARDING: Continue
PLAY: Memorize parts   Invitations will be going home this week. All props need to be at school by Friday, December 2nd

Set up for the play will be SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4th @ 4 PM for those who can come and help. The door to the gym on the EAST side of the building will be open.
