School is back in session!!  J

Some highlights to make sure these first few days go smoothly:

• ·     Morning walk on the playground from 8:05-8:20.
• ·     First bell rings @ 8:20. Line up at the #17 on the playground (near the doors closest to the alley/slide).
• ·     Water bottles: OK
• ·     Snacks after AM recess or after PE: OK
• ·     Names on everything, even backpacks. We already have a couple that are exactly alike!
• ·     Assignment notebooks: Might be here by Wednesday, but they have been ordered. We will improvise if your child is waiting to purchase one. You can still send the money. I will write down who has paid and will disperse them when they arrive. The cost is $5 from the school.
• ·     6^th graders: No Latin Word Roots or spelling these first days. J
• ·     JR, LG, MJ, and ND: Math @ the middle schools begins on THURSDAY. You will be with me all day on Wednesday.
• ·     Specialists will start the very first day. We have PE/Health again on Wednesday @ 9:30 with Mrs. Reas.  J
• ·     Music is Tu/Th again. 6^th graders only: I will check about instruments and see if you need them on Thursday.
• ·     Library will be on Mondays (so bringing back the books on Friday would be a good idea).
