6th grade parents: The last day of school there is a 6th grade graduation, scheduled for 9 AM in the library. Mr. Croff gives out academic awards, and there is a slide show. YOU ARE INVITED to come! 5th grade parents: On Thursday, May 30th,  Mr. Bokum is hosting a BBQ during lunch and the 5th graders are invited. They are asked to bring a BBQ item. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and the buns are provided by Mr. Bokum and myself. Your child chose  or was assigned the item below. Please make sure they bring enough for 12 students.  :-)

PERMISSION SLIPS: We are walking to Rose Park with our buddies on WED. Those permission slips are lavender. 6th grade students have one more permission slip that has BOTH the L&C Caverns and the 6th grade picnic on it. PLEASE have it returned by next Tuesday (but this week would be better!). It is yellow.

ALL 5th graders have their permission slips in for FISHING on THURSDAY (no lunch required). J PLEASE make sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather. We go…rain or shine!!

Bombing Lilliput: Students are working in teams this week to try to construct a launching device that will hurl a piece of newspaper into a basket that is inside a 20’ diameter circle. They are also building a retrieval device (to pick up the ones that don’t make it in the basket).  Please ask your child if they are bringing the materials they need for the activity. The group comes to a standstill when materials are not here.   J
