Mr. Croff will do make up testing the following week, so please do not send your child to school if he/she is ill.

We have been asked to tell parents that all electronics should be left at home during this testing days. This is due to the fact that they have calculators and Internet capabilities. IF your child needs to have their cell phone at school next week, please let me know, and I will put it in my closet during the testing. Any irregularities during the test setting (phones ringing, kids getting out their Kindles) must be reported by me to Mr. Croff. It could end up in our tests being invalidated.

For parents whose children take orchestra:

The Central Area Elementary Orchestra Gala will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2013. The concert will begin at 7:30 PM in the Lincoln Education Center Auditorium. 5th and 6th grade orchestra students who attend Broadwater, Highland, McKinley, Miles Avenue, Poly Drive, Rose Park and Washington Elementary schools and the 6th graders attending Lewis & Clark Middle School will be performing on this concert. The three orchestra instructors who teach these students are Rebecca Jackman, Vikki Payne and Richele Sitton.
We are asking students to report to Lincoln Auditorium at 6:45 PM for tuning of instruments, etc.
